Gymnastics

Program Overview

WiO Gymnastics blends together all of the basics of the sport to give your child a taste of being a real gymnast! This structured, yet fun program allows your child to grow in the program by learning and perfecting skills at every level. Led by experienced coaches, the 8-week sessions will challenge your child and keep a focus on learning and improving tumbling skills, proper vocabulary, discipline and the best technique and form. Our coaches create weekly curriculum to ensure your child is engaged and advancing along the way.

The program is open to children 3 years of age and up and perfect for a child brand new to gymnastics, kids who want a fun after school activity, and those interested in pursuing the sport more seriously.

Not sure you’re ready for a full season? We have Open Gymnastics and Private Lessons available too! All sessions and classes are non-refundable, non-transferable.

Meet Our Gymnastic Instructors

Noel Descalzi

Noël Descalzi, a Hudson County native, spent many years as a youth in Hoboken.

An athlete from the ripe age of two, her parents leveraged her energetic personality into gymnastics. She was chosen for the competitive team at five years old and formally trained for over 16 years at a Junior Olympic level. Noël has taken part in professional and competitive cheerleading, including years as part of Hoboken’s own Cheer Dynamics All-Star team and on the national level as a member of the New Jersey Nets Team Hype.

Work it Out blossomed from Noël’s passion for fitness and gymnastics coupled with her love for her community and small business.

Noël’s motivational tactics and stern disposition as a coach brings discipline and progression to her staff and students. As the founder of WiO and the gymnastics program director, Noel’s main goal is for every child to excel by enforcing goal-setting and skill requirements.

Devon Descalzi

Have a little gymnast at home? Why not have them train with the best? Devon, sister to owner Noel, is the youth gymnastics instructor, teaching a wide variety of WiO gymnasts and classes.
